Where Is Pueblo del Mar Located?
If you’ve never been to Tamarindo, it’s not that big. Google Maps and other GPS tools work fine, but you can also find it even if you’re not wanting to use a device.
Pueblo del Mar is a 10-minute walk from Playa Tamarindo, the nearest airport is Tamarindo Airport, 5 km from Pueblo del Mar.
What Is Pueblo del Mar’s History?
If you happen to look at Pueblo del Mar’s bylaws, they were written in the late 90s, and they’re signed by Franc Viale. Franc was the younger brother of Nicolas Viale, who had the local Century 21 franchise for many years.
Nicolas left the country when his office was raided by the tax authorities.
All of that said, Pueblo del Mar is one of the original Tamarindo condominium complexes and the units are quite well-built with true block and rebar construction.
Coastal Realty & Property Management was invited to get the property back in shape in 2021 and now it’s back to its former glory.
What Does Pueblo del Mar Mean?
The “Village of the Sea” was an apt name back when the property was built. In those days, Tamarindo was much less dense.
What Are the Characteristics of Pueblo del Mar?
The property consists of 29 townhouse-style condominiums. The architecture is Spanish Colonial, very similar to what you might find in original colonial towns in Central America such as Granada, Nicaragua.
Most of the units are 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, while a few of the units on the curves at each end of the oval are smaller.
Each condo has a large open floorplan living, kitchen, and dining area downstairs with bedrooms upstairs.
Over the years, owners have renovated the interiors in many different styles.
Outside, the property is maintained as a tropical garden surrounding a pool for the use of owners and guests.
There is a Rancho (gazebo) for shaded reading and outdoor get-togethers. For units that don’t have their own washer and dryer inside, there is a shared set in the pool house. You can put some credits on a card at CRPM’s offices.
What Are the Types of Condominio Akira Rentals?
You’ll find that most of the Pueblo del Mar owners are foreigners who use their properties for vacations. A few owners live on the property full-time. For the rest of the units, there’s a nice mix of long-term tenants and vacation rentals.
Pueblo del Mar’s owners are very strict about keeping a family-friendly environment, so if you’re thinking about renting in the area and wanting to listen to loud music or party late, there are better options at other properties.
