With a storied history that eventually made it the commercial center of the Gold Coast and development, it’s no surprise how popular Tamarindo condos have become.
Rumors are that some of the earliest Tamarindo businesses were founded from money earned off the sale of a lost cocaine bail that washed ashore.
Well before the roads were paved into Guanacaste, historically the least financially-supported province with Costa Rica, and before H.G. Pattillo subsidized the Liberia Airport and started serious construction at Hacienda Pinilla, Tamarindo started growing on its own and eventually had its first condominium complexes. Developers from all over the world settled in the area and began building: Germans, Dutch, Italians, Americans, Argentineans, French, and many others have put their own architectural spin on the condominium complexes in Tamarindo.
Between 2004 and 2008, there was another real estate boom that ended with Sub-Prime Mortgage Crisis. Real estate development was a little sleepy but eventually picked up again, and now you’ll find condos hosting Tamarindo vacation rentals throughout the area.
At CRPM, we’re proud to manage many units and condominium associations.
