Tamarindo Area Sailing & Snorkeling
Set Sail
Enjoy an afternoon under sail on the Pacific with a sailing and snorkeling adventure. Catamaran tours are available from both Tamarindo and Flamingo and pick-up at your vacation rental is available.
Sailing adventures leave at mid-day and return during sunset. Enjoy snacks, an open bar, and snorkel equipment at the beach stop. A great photo opportunity and way to see the marine life native to Guanacaste. Dolphins and sea turtles are commonly spotted. Reef fish found at the stops.

Tamarindo Area Canopy Tours/Ziplines
Canopy Tour / Zipline
Zoom through the trees and spot monkeys, tropical birds, and other animals as you zip from tree top to tree top. One of Costa Rica’s most popular activities, our guests love the adrenaline rush.
Tours leave in the morning and afternoon and may be combined with horseback riding for a longer adventure.
Not recommended for those with a fear of heights.

Massages
Coastal Property Management offers guests many options to renew their spirits. Massages can be scheduled in spas, at our properties or on the beach. We have excellent masseuses who offer many styles of massage including deep tissue, sports and Swedish.
For couples and larger groups, we can schedule side by side massages.
Tamarindo Area Horseback Riding
Costa Rica’s backyard, the Guanacaste province, is famous for its cattle culture. The best cowboys in the nation hail from the many ranches in the area. More recently equestrian enthusiasts from all over the world have moved into the area for its incredible scenic beauty. Enjoy a horseback venture with a trained guide as you enjoy our region’s abundant nature and see many photo opportunities as traverse trails through the nearby mountains.
Manicure/Pedicure
Looking to pamper yourself? Manicures and pedicures are available by appointment at our local spas or at your vacation rental. You may combine a mani/pedi with a massage as well.
Yoga
Costa Rica’s spiritual quality, abundant wildlife, and picturesque surroundings make it a mecca for enthusiasts. In addition to the retreats that are hosted in the area, there are many instructors in the area that teach in their studios or at our properties or on the beach! Flow, vikram, surf, and other styles available.
For our guests that are looking for a new challenge, try stand up paddle yoga.
Surf Lessons
Costa Rica is a globally famous location for surfing. We’re lucky to have amazing waves walking distance to our properties in Tamarindo, Langosta, Playa Grande, and Hacienda Pinilla. Always warm water and consistent swells bring enthusiasts to our beaches constantly. The Gold Coast is also one of the best places to learn to surf as former pros live in the area and teach beginners. The Tamarindo weather by month is also always surf-friendly. Guests can enjoy a rental board appropriate to their skill level, transport to the waves, and enthusiastic instruction. Great for beginners through intermediates. We also book surf tours to famous locations such Witch’s Rock, Ollie’s Point, Little Hawaii and Playa Negra.
Guanacaste National Park Tours
As a percentage of total landmass, Costa Rica is a global leader in land conservation. We are lucky enough to have some significant national parks within a short drive of our properties including:
- Parque Marinao Nacional Las Baulas – #1 nesting site for the Leatherback Turtle
- Parque Nacional Palo Verde – The Tempisque rivermouth is a breeding ground for tropical birds and home to crocodiles and many species of monkeys.
- Parque Nacional Rincon de la Vieja – An active volcano, this tour involves hiking and visiting the famous mud baths.
ATV Tours
Paved roads in our area of Guanacaste are a relatively new thing. Get off the beaten track on an all-terrain vehicle with a guide to see amazing plants and animals. Be prepared to get dirty!
Spanish School
What better place to learn Spanish than in paradise? Take classes near our Tamarindo vacation rentals or Flamingo as well with travelers from all over the world. College credit available!
